I Shoes You- Finding your Wedding Shoes

Updated: Oct 11, 2018

Now who does not love a good pair of shoes. You know how the saying goes "Give a woman the right shoes and she can conquer the world".

Yes your wedding dress is important but your wedding shoes are just as important. They complete your look on your special day.

Based on a survey by Lyst apparently 60% of brides considered shoes to be just as important as their wedding dress, whilst 20% thought shoes were more important than the gown.

In our modern society, more brides are opting for timeless and elegant looking shoes and ditching the traditional look.

Here are a few Estolade tips to consider when searching for your wedding day shoes:

1. Comfortability- As the bride you are likely to be on your feet for the most part of the day so you will definitely need a comfortable pair of shoes that you can walk in and enjoy your day in.

Brides often underestimate how long they spend in their shoes thinking it's only a few hours in them. Just imagine this, all your guests and the groom are all eyes on you from the ceremony/vows through to the reception and all you're thinking of is how to get out of your shoes. It's certainly not worth it so make sure you are comfortable in your shoes. Try them on before buying it. It won't hurt :).

2. Affordability- Always cut your cloth according to your size. Weddings are expensive enough as it is so don't go out of pocket trying to fit into a shoe. You want your shoe to stand out and be everything you dreamed of yes? But you would also like to save some bucks where you can.

We suggest shopping around in different stores looking for bargains, online and in-store. Sales are always your best friend.

3. Colour- A lot of brides now tend to have multiple outfit changes during the course of the whole day. Picking a neutral colour that will match all your outfits is a win-win. And most definitely will save you a whole lot of money.
